Finally, there’s a Jeep that seamlessly combines classic elegance, comfort, and utility. For years, the Grand Cherokee has won awards for its reliability and handsome styling. But the 2021 generation reaches new heights in aesthetics, user-friendliness, and roominess.

The Grand Cherokee’s interior boasts expert craftsmanship and attention to detail. It comes packed with a sophisticated infotainment system, advanced driver safety technology, and other premium features.

And the all-new three-row version is set to drop this summer. Let’s take a look at Jeep’s exciting new Grand Cherokee lineup.

The 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee’s power and performance

Jeep offers a whopping 11 Grand Cherokee models in 2021. They offer a variety of powertrain configurations.

The Grand Cherokee is known for its off-roading chops. And in 2021, you can continue your adventure with the SUV’s impressive towing capability. All models can trailer 3,500 pounds. But the higher-level trims — the High Altitude 4X2, SRT 4X4, and Trackhawk 4X4 — can tow 6,200 to 7,200 pounds.

This SUV doesn’t disappoint when it comes to speed, either. The top-trim Trackhawk 4X4 edition can roar from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds. Its 6.2L V8 engine makes it a beast on the road. Plus, the Launch Control feature allows for straight-line acceleration, while the four-by-four system offers an effortless driving experience.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee’s tech features

Nowadays, consumers want intelligent vehicles. And Jeep has stepped up with tech features in the new Grand Cherokee. The SUV’s innovative Uconnect infotainment system gives you many ways to stay connected with everyone you care about, Car and Driver reports.

This nine-speaker system comes with navigation, HD radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a rear-seat entertainment system. And the touchscreen controls can operate the power liftgate, sunroof, remote start, and other features.

The Grand Cherokee also provides plenty of advanced safety and driver-assist features. They include rear park assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-path detection, Consumer Reports reports. With over 70 safety features, the 2021 Grand Cherokee is a haven for families and speed lovers alike.

Luxury and comfort you’ll want to live in

Aside from safety and performance, the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee comes road-trip-ready with a beautiful and comfortable interior. And the Grand Cherokee L adds third-row seating for even more seating.

Like the 2020 model, the new model’s cabin is modern and clean, with distinct styling. It also offers soft-touch fabric and high-end leather on the armrests and dashboard.

Above, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof floods the car with light and offers starry nighttime views. And below, ventilated front seats ensure comfort and enjoyment on long trips.

Jeep’s efforts to curate every detail are especially evident in the Grand Cherokee L’s jaw-dropping cabin. Its quilted-leather stitching and high-quality wood trim rival some luxury models

The price of comfort, safety, performance

With 11 trims offering various packages, the 2021 Jeep Cherokee’s price range varies greatly. At the lower end of the spectrum are the Laredo E and Laredo X, starting at $34,220 and $37,765. And the most expensive models — the SRT and Trackhawk — start at $69,410 and $87,915.

Jeep hasn’t released pricing for the Grand Cherokee L as of this writing. But Car and Driver expects it to start “just under $40,000 for the Laredo, around $45,000 for the Limited, $50,000 for the Overland, and $55,000 for the Summit.”

All in all, the 2021 Grand Cherokee is grand in many ways. Yes, the best features are in the more expensive models. But even the lower trims offer comfortable, high-quality rides.

So, if you appreciate ample space without compromising craftsmanship and performance, the 2021 Grand Cherokee is a solid choice. Its reliability and off-road prowess make this SUV an ideal vehicle for adventurers and families alike.
