When you’re in the market for a new set of wheels that still allows you to haul all your gear plus family and friends, there is only one option. What you need is a great sedan. When choosing a new sedan, you want to get the most bang for your buck. According to Kelly Blue Book, the clear winner when it comes to sedans under $10,000 is the 2015 Ford Fiesta. Here’s why the 2015 Ford Fiesta is the best budget-friendly sedan on the market.

How does the 2015 Ford Fiesta Sedan stack up?

The 2015 Ford Fiesta is one of the most stylish subcompact vehicles on the market. Today, the starting price of a 2015 Ford Fiesta is $7,044. This budget-friendly sedan provides excellent fuel economy along with a slew of modern features.

Some of the top modern features of the Ford Fiesta are Bluetooth and a rearview camera. Both of these modern features come standard with every 2015 Ford Fiesta.

The 2015 Ford Fiesta also comes in a variety of fun exterior and interior colors and trims. The vehicle brings the unique European look stateside. All in all, the 2015 Fiesta is available in four trim levels. The Sedan model is available as an S, SE, or Titanium. On top of that, there is also a hatchback-only ST Ford Fiesta model. There is quite a bit of choice that comes along with a Ford Fiesta.

The Fiesta also provides drivers with quick, responsive steering. Handling a Fiesta is relatively easy and makes the car legitimately fun to drive. Operators can rest assured with their Fiesta as they take on twisting roads, as this little subcompact vehicle surprisingly responds with quick balance and communication.

There are three engine options with the 2015 Ford Fiesta, the standard 120-hp 4-cylinder, a 3-cylinder, and the 197 horsepower of the Fiesta ST. A 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission is also available on all of the standard engines of the Ford Fiestas.

Not all Ford Fiestas are created equal

While the 2015 Ford Fiesta Sedan is rated as a top vehicle, other Ford Fiesta models have not always received the same feedback. The 2013 Ford Fiesta was actually dubbed the absolute worst model year you could buy.

The 2011 model also has had its fair share of complaints as well. The significant problems with these Ford Fiestas, both the sedan and hatchback models, had to do with transmission and engine issues.

Other budget-friendly sedans

There are some potential drawbacks with the 2015 Ford Fiesta Sedan. First, the resale value of a Ford Fiesta is not ideal. Second, if you’re looking for a subcompact vehicle with vast interior room and flexibility, the Ford Fiesta is probably not the right choice for you. However, some other great Sedans under $10,000 may be able to meet more of your criteria. According to Kelly Blue Book, if you’re not into the Ford Fiesta, the next two great Sedan options under $10,000 are the 2015 Hyundai Accent and the 2015 Chevrolet Sonic.

The 2015 Hyundai Accent starts at $7,517. This car brings together sleek looks and fuel efficiency. The elegant interior of the Hyundai Accent is what sets it apart from similar options.

The 2015 Chevrolet Sonic starts at $7,978. The Chevrolet Sonic is not only a fun to drive little car, but is also extremely good on gas and stacked with modern features like built-in Wi-Fi. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly sedan, you can’t go wrong with any of these three options.
