Is a 2 door Jeep better than a 4 door Jeep?
The Jeep Wrangler two-door and four-door models are simply different tools for different jobs. Some off-roaders prefer the tight turning radius afforded by the short wheelbase of the two-door Wrangler. But a four-door Wrangler offers much more room for your rear-seat passengers and for luggage.
The reason Jeep offers its Wrangler Rubicon with two doors is that the Rubicon is Jeep’s premiere off-roading trim. The two-door Rubicon is capable of navigating hairpin turns in off-road trails by threading its way between close-set obstacles that might trap a longer-wheelbase SUV.
That said, the reason Jeep began offering the four-door Wrangler Unlimited in the first place was to offer a large-enough Wrangler SUV for a growing family or for multiple passengers on an extended camping trip.
