Let’s face it, waiting in line to get your daily driver cleaned is a tedious chore. But a futuristic automated cleaning station in Asia is blowing minds across social media by detailing vehicles in a fraction of the time we are used to here in the States.
A video recently posted to X (formerly Twitter) by tech commentator Tansu Yegen has racked up upwards of 2.5 million views. The short footage reveals a standard Honda Accord pulling into a high-tech bay and emerging completely spotless almost instantly.
How the 60-Second Wash Works
As the sedan rolls into the facility, ground-mounted nozzles immediately blast the underbelly and alloys with intense water pressure, instantly stripping away stubborn road grime from the hardest-to-reach places.
Next, an automated mechanical arm sweeps over the exterior of the Honda, blanketing the paintwork in a thick layer of foaming soap. Without missing a beat, the robotic arm circles back around for a rapid, high-pressure rinse cycle, leaving the sedan gleaming.

Of course, the internet always has its skeptics. Several commenters shrugged off the viral footage, pointing out that drive-through cleaning bays have existed in Western countries for decades. “Amazing. We had that in Europe in the ’80s,” one unimpressed user replied.
But those critics are missing the real selling point: sheer speed. While a standard American automated wash usually traps you inside your vehicle for three to five long minutes, this state-of-the-art Chinese alternative gets the entire job done in well under 60 seconds.
