Watch: Reckless Lamborghini Driver Busted After Viral Drift Session in Bengaluru

There is a time and a place to test the limits of your high-horsepower supercar, and a busy city intersection is definitely not it. One Lamborghini driver in Bengaluru, India, is currently finding that out the hard way after a highly publicized stunt session resulted in a police investigation.

Over the weekend, a viral video began circulating on social media showing a white Lamborghini completely tearing up the Anil Kumble Circle on MG Road. Instead of quietly cruising through the city’s Central Business District, the driver decided to treat the junction like a closed Formula Drift course.

Drifting and Donuts on Public Roads

According to multiple local reports, the incident took place in the early hours of Saturday morning between 2:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. The footage clearly shows the Italian exotic aggressively pitching sideways, screeching its tires, and doing tight donuts right in the middle of the public intersection.

To make matters worse, the reckless driving wasn’t just limited to the person behind the wheel. Eyewitnesses and police noted that passengers were actively hanging out of the supercar’s sunroof, shouting and cheering as the driver ripped through the high-speed maneuvers before speeding off toward Tonique Circle.

The Police Crackdown

While those in the Italian Bull might have thought they got away with their late-night joyride, the viral video proved to be their downfall. Outraged netizens tagged the Bengaluru City Police on X (formerly Twitter), demanding accountability for the blatant disregard for public safety.

The Cubbon Park Traffic Police did not wait around for a formal complaint to be filed. Officers immediately registered a suo motu FIR (First Information Report) against the vehicle’s owner on their own initiative. Thanks to the video footage clearly showing the car’s license plate, KA 05 NR 0009, authorities were able to track the registration straight to the Regional Transport Office.

The owner has officially been booked for dangerous driving under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Indian Motor Vehicles Act. Investigators are now working to confirm whether the registered owner was actually the one doing the drifting, or if someone else was behind the wheel.
