General Motors is going all-in on electric vehicles. Chevy is releasing several new EVs in the next few years. The American automaker has made a huge investment in the development of electric vehicles. Here’s every new Chevy electric vehicle that has been announced thus far.

The 2024 Chevy Silverado EV is in the running for best electric pickup truck

The Chevy electric vehicle surrounded by the most hype at the moment is the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV. According to Inverse, the Silverado EV is coming to dealerships in spring 2023. The Work Truck trim will be the first available model.

Thus far, Chevrolet has released the most information on the RST (Rally Sport Truck) model. The RST gets an insane 400 miles of driving range. It makes a massive 664 horsepower. The electric truck’s specs make it one of the most desirable electric truck options coming to the market.

Chevy Silverado models don’t normally compete well in rankings against more popular trucks like the Ram 1500 and Ford F-150. The Chevrolet Silverado EV is a chance for Chevy to flip the script and produce a class-leading pickup truck. General Motors CEO Mary Barra claims that the Silverado EV is unmatched. The Chevy Silverado EV will start at $41,595. We’ll see how it compares to other electric pickup trucks when it arrives in the spring.

The 2024 Chevy Equinox EV and 2024 Chevy Blazer EV are coming

The 2024 Chevy Equinox EV is estimated to release in the fall of 2023. It is expected to start at around $30,000. The Equinox EV will come in LT and RS trims.

The Chevy Equinox EV could be one of the most competitive affordable electric SUV models depending on its range. Chevy has barely teased the Equinox EV, but it seems to be one of the new cornerstones of its electric future alongside the Silverado EV.

There’s even less info out about the 2024 Chevy Blazer EV, but it’s an exciting addition to Chevy’s electric vehicle lineup. The electric SUV is expected to release in the spring of 2023.

General Motors wants to dethrone Tesla

General Motors wants to take the top spot from Tesla in the EV space. Tesla is currently struggling with delays for vehicles like the Cybertruck. Tesla vehicles also experience extreme price fluctuations. If General Motors wants to overtake Tesla, Chevy’s upcoming electric vehicle lineup could do the trick in the next few years.

Will Chevy defeat Tesla with the Silverado EV, Equinox EV, and Blazer EV, or are Tesla electric vehicles already too popular to be challenged by newer EVs? Only time will tell which automaker will be more successful, but the next few years will surely be exciting for fans of Chevrolet.
