The brand definition is one of luxury and rich experience. U.S. News weighed in recently with its roundup of the most opulent SUVs on the market this year. And there’s no question the 2021 Escalade lands near the top. This list of plush SUVs features top contenders, including models from Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Volvo. 

Based on interior comforts, including quality, design, tech, and driving experience, the 2021 Cadillac Escalade earns an interior score of 8.3 out of ten, overshadowing most of the others. U.S. News points to the 2021 redesign that adds new style and high-quality extras throughout the interior and exterior. And this score also praises the Escalade’s massive cargo space, significantly greater than almost all of its rivals.

The folks at U.S. News aren’t the only ones praising the Cadillac Escalade. MotorTrend ranks this model second in the full-size, three-row SUV class, with a score of 8.0 out of 10. And in other news, the Escalade has also been named a semifinalist in the 2021 North American Car, Utility, and Truck of the Year Awards.

Innovative interior design and technology

You probably expect a few luxury extras in the 2021 Cadillac Escalade, like supple leather, sleek lines, and a high-end sound system. Premium materials are certainly part of the Escalade’s DNA this model year. But there’s more. With ambient lighting, more passenger room, standard self-parking technology, and a head-up display, the Escalade is the epitome of luxury.

How to equip your Cadillac Escalade

New for the 2021 Cadillac Escalade are a new rear, independent suspension, a new diesel-powered engine option, and savvier interior tech, Edmunds reports. This three-row SUV is available in five trims: Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury Platinum, and Sport Platinum. Each model seats eight with a second-row bench and seven passengers with optional captain’s chairs in that row.

Plus, every 2021 Cadillac Escalade packs a massive 6.2-liter V8 engine harnessing 420 hp. Rear-wheel drive comes standard across trims, and four-wheel drive is an option if you want it. There’s even an optional 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel engine capable of 277 hp.

Overall, there’s is no question when it comes to luxury SUVs. The Cadillac Escalade continues to be at the top of its class. And spending between $76,195 and $102,995 on this ultra-plush ride won’t leave you wanting anything more.
