We know our title is loaded with crazy words like two-door Chevy Blazer SUV. You may be aware that the new Blazer isn’t exactly like the traditional model. However, a two-door Chevy Blazer SUV that’s based on the Chevrolet Silverado is in the works with a premium price.

When the Chevy Blazer returned as an SUV meant to tackle the city, a lot of fans were disappointed. People miss the classic Blazer with its boxy design and stout off-roading capabilities.

This could be why Flat Out Autos decided to design a new Blazer that goes back to its original roots. While incorporating some retro flare, the two-door Blazer concept is based on the Chevrolet Silverado. But this comes with a steep price of about $120,000.

It has a face that matches the big truck with the same grille design and LED headlights. The Rear is the same too, with matching taillights and the same bumper. However, this SUV only has two doors, and the top is removable.

How much power does the Flat Out Autos Blazer have?

Flat Out Autos is still working on the details for the two-door Chevy Blazer SUV. We only have renderings of the concept, so far. But if it’s like the two-door GMC Jimmy build, then it won’t be short on muscle.

Rumors suggest that the Blazer will be available with the LZ0 3.0-liter inline-six Duramax turbodiesel engine with 305 hp and 495 lb-ft of torque. The official towing and payload ratings for this engine hasn’t been released.

It could be available with the 5.3-liter liter V8 engine that cranks out 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque. The 6.2-liter V8 engine with 420 hp and 460 lb-ft has been mentioned as well. Both engines could be available with superchargers as well.

The current Chevrolet Blazer has a standard 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that provides 228 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. You can upgrade to the 3.6-liter V6 engine for 308 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. So the Silverado 1500 engines provide more muscle for a two-row off-roading beast.

How much does the Flat Out Autos Blazer cost?

The Flat Out Autos two-door Chevy Blazer SUV price could start at about $120,000. However, this is based on similar builds. The official pricing hasn’t been released. But it will come at a premium because it involves the cost of a Chevy Silverado 1500 or GMC Sierra.

Then you have to factor in the cost and hours spent converting it into a two-door SUV. Plus, Flat Out Autos isn’t planning on making these vehicles in bulk. Only eight to 10 models are expected for 2022, while it plans to increase production for 2022.

Plus, we aren’t sure about what bells and whistles will be available that could impact the price. For example, lift kits, suspension upgrades, and luxury comfort features could be available.

But e could learn more clues soon. Flat Out Autos is planning on debuting the Blazer and GMC Jimmy at the upcoming SEMA show, during the first week of November.
