Police officers in Florida are looking for a trucker who went on a rampage through a neighborhood. The semi-truck caused over $400k in damage by flattening cars and pulling power poles down. But then the driver got away. 

A Florida trucker causes over $400k in neighborhood and gets away 

Police officers need your help finding a trucker in Florida. The driver decided to use his semi-truck to cause chaos in a neighborhood off of Tropicana Parkway. 

The Cape Coral Police Department is searching for the yellow semi-truck that wrecked a neighborhood, causing over $400k in damage. 

Everything started with a crash at the intersection of Tropicana Parkway and Fifth Avenue. Witnesses shared that they heard a loud collision, then a power outage occurred. 

According to Wink News, the alleged suspect was driving a yellow semi-truck with a reefer or refrigerated trailer. Police recovered a piece of its hood near the first crash site. 

After the first wreck, the truck driver went into a neighborhood and caused a destructive rampage. He dragged multiple cars into fences and buildings. When officers arrived, they found six downed power poles, smashed cars, and crushed fences. 

The trucker was last seen heading northbound on Burnt Store Road while dragging utility poles. There were no related injuries to the incident. 

Also, tractor-trailers regularly travel through the neighborhood without any issues. The cables were properly positioned to meet height requirements.
