The Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Woodland Edition is the automaker’s second Woodland Edition model after the Toyota Sienna Woodland Edition. The Sienna Woodland Edition is also a hybrid off-road vehicle. Toyota’s new RAV4 Hybrid Woodland Edition doesn’t just resemble an off-road SUV. It has real off-roading chops. The new SUV makes a strong case for hybrid off-road vehicles.

The 2023 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Woodland Edition makes 219 horsepower and 163 lb-ft of torque thanks to its 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and two electric motors. The RAV4 Hybrid Woodland Edition is more powerful than the gas-powered RAV4.

It features a TRD-tuned suspension. The hybrid off-road SUV also comes standard with Falken WILDPEAK all-terrain tires. It includes Trail Mode as well as standard all-wheel drive. The small hybrid off-road SUV comes with all-weather floor and cargo mats and mudguards.

Toyota has yet to release a price for the new hybrid SUV. MotorTrend claims that it will hit dealerships this fall.
