Tow truck driver gets bitten while repossessing car

This is a shout-out to all the honest, hard-working tow truck drivers out there. Many operators face threats of violence and risk their lives while simply doing their jobs.

The Prince William County Police Department responded to an incident around 10:40 AM after receiving reports of an assault.

A tow operator was repossessing a vehicle when the owner aggressively confronted him. The suspect has been identified as Dorell Montea Farmer.

Farmers started to beat up the operator and bit him twice. Then he ran away from the 16600 block of River Ridge Blvd. According to Fox 5 DC, Farmer returned a second time at the 13600 block of Richmond Hwy.

This time Farmer punched the operator in the face and broke his glasses. He ran away when the police arrived and remains at large. Luckily, the tow truck driver only received non-life-threatening injuries during both attacks.

Police officers obtained an arrest warrant from Farmer, charging him with one count of malicious wounding, one count of destruction of property, and two counts of assault and battery.

Officers are searching for him. He’s described as a black man that’s 6’ tall, and weighing 160 lbs. He has short black hair and brown eyes. Please call the Prince William County Police Department if you have any related information.
