Luxury cars are some of the most sought-after vehicles on the market. Not only do they have a stylish exterior, but high-end interior materials give the driver a more comfortable, convenient ride. When it comes to luxury vehicles, many people believe the higher the price tag, the better the car. This is true for some cars. However, it’s not always the case.

There are many luxury vehicles on the market today that don’t cost more than any other vehicle. There are also a few luxury cars that will end up only costing you more money in the long run. Here are a few expensive luxury cars that are not very reliable.

1. Jaguar F-Pace

On the outside, the F-Pace looks like a sporty crossover. It does offer three types of engine. The 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 can produce an impressive 340 hp. There is also a diesel option or you can go with the standard 2.0-liter turbo engine. While the F-Pace has impressive power, it also comes with a wide range of problems.

For starters, the technology is not as nearly updated as you would expect from a $55,000 SUV. The touchscreen display lags and does not come with the bells and whistles of many other infotainment systems. Another issue many F-Pace owners complain about is the fact that the water pump has been known to leak. Others notice that the vehicle’s interior is wet after the SUV sits outside in the rain.

2. Cadillac Escalade

At first glance, the Escalade looks like one of the most spacious SUV available. However, passengers sitting in the third-row seats actually feel pretty cramped. The backseat does not offer much legroom. It’s hard for an adult to sit back there unless the owner opts for the higher trim level, which offers a little more room.

Many Escalade owners also complain about the interior lacking durability. Some complain about a rattling dash, while others have said the seats and DVD players are falling apart. When you pay around $85,000 for a vehicle, you would think the interior would be more durable.

3. Tesla Model X

Tesla is known for producing some of the most state-of-the-art cars with its all-electric motors and high-tech interiors. However, the Model X is known to have problems with the in-car tech features. Issues include the media display freezing up and sometimes going completely black for no reason. Drivers have also had problems with the steering wheel controls, Bluetooth connections, and voice control commands.

There have also been reports of the car’s paint chipping easily and the body making rattling and squeaking noises. The Tesla Model X is one of the most expensive cars on this list, with a new one costing around $110,000.
