When you start getting into the big haulers, as the payload goes up the price tags keep getting higher, too. The Ford Pickup Super Duty models make up the three most expensive Ford pickup trucks.

On the low end, the F-250 XL trim starts at $33,705. But a little browsing through the trim levels reveals trucks starting up closer to $100,000 mark. The Limited trim takes the Ford Super Duty starting price to the next level with some of the most expensive trucks on the 2020 market.

The 2020 Ford F-250 Super Duty Limited

This is the Limited trim F-250 Super Duty. It is the lightest of the Super Duty Limited line. The starting price of this Limited trim pickup is just a few grand over $80k at $83,600. You can do almost anything in this pickup truck.

It boasts a luxury interior, an available V8 turbo Diesel engine, and basically every feature available to a Ford pickup truck. These features include a ten speed transmission, special towing package, as well as the choice between several different drive styles. The truck is designed to drive in adaptive settings –– normal, tow/haul, eco & deep sand/snow are all drive options.

The 2020 Ford F-350 Super Duty Limited

The next up on the list of most expensive Ford pickups is a level beyond the F-250 Super Duty. The F-350 Super Duty in all its Limited trim glory has a starting price of $84,775. The F-350 is almost identical to the F-250.

Each Super Duty Limited pickup truck come with the option of either a powerful Diesel or gasoline V8 engine. Most F-350s come equipped with the Diesel engine. So what is the difference between this truck and the F-250 version? The primary difference between the two is a taller rear block for level towing. The F-350 Super Duty Limited may not be work the extra few grand.

The 2020 Ford F-450 Super Duty Limited

It comes as no surprise that the next pickup on the list is the 2020 F-450 Super Duty Limited, which is the most expensive Ford pickup truck. This model starts dangerously close to the 6-figure mark at $90, 530. It does come with all the fancy features that make this truck one of the most luxurious big rigs on the road.

The 2020 F-450 Super Duty Limited pickup truck is luxurious and powerful. It also has a starting price of almost 100 grand.

While its specs look remarkably similar to the F-250 and the F-350, The F-450 is truly a towing beast. This monster of a truck is designed so specifically for big jobs that it actually rides smoother when it’s loaded down.

Are they worth the cheddar?

If you are going to be towing or loading down your truck, regularly putting it to work, the F-series is a great line of capable trucks. These models get extremely pricey because the limited trim features luxury details like two tone leather bucket seats and an Ofulsen sound system.

If you’ve got the cash to spend on the extra luxury, the Limited trim may be worth the expense. There is a reason Ford trucks are so popular –– they are stellar performers that inspire polarizing brand loyalty. The Limited trim doesn’t skimp on upgrades or options. Still, $90,530 is a pretty steep starting price for a farm truck.
