Unless you’re already a billionaire, 2020 probably hasn’t been your year. 2020 is a wash. It’s a year to hunker down and wait for better things to come. With that said, the car market has been wild this year, along with everything else. Many people aren’t sure if it’s time to buy now since driving feels safer and something we can control or save money and wait. If you find yourself leaning toward the latter, then these upcoming cars and trucks might be all the inspiration you need to wait for your new car purchase

Kelly Blue Book compiled its list of highly anticipated cars, trucks, and SUVs. This list is a distillation of only the coolest and most exciting from KBB’s list. Let’s dig in.

The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX

The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX is a 702-hp Hellcat-powered monster machine. I want to say that one more time – 702hp. The new Ram has the truck world all worked up, and it’s easy to see why. Taking on the Ford Raptor head-on means American motor rivals can live on and keep the fight alive.

The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E

This one is harder to gauge, but there is no question that the motoring world is interested in the Mach-E. Sure the Mustang getting all-electric power is fun and hip, but this new Mustang isn’t really what we know the Mustang to be; it’s an SUV. The Mustang E-SUV is a strange and confusing model that many aren’t sure about. The truth is, it should be great.

The Mustang Mach-E is an all-wheel-drive SUV with a range of 300 miles and 346 hp. The performance figures for the Mach-E are better than the massively successful Porsche Macan SUV. If people take the Mustang Mach-E as they did to the Macan, Ford will have a hit on their hands.

The 2021 Ford F-150

Putting any F-series truck on a list is almost cheating. No matter what Ford does, the F-150 will always be a sales monster. The exciting thing about the 2021 Ford-F150 is that Ford is making it a hybrid.

This isn’t the first hybrid truck by any means, but it does seem to be the most work-friendly of any hybrid so far. The coolest feature is the Pro Power Onboard system that turns the truck into a generator. With a full tank and full charge, the 2021 Ford F-150 has a total range of 700 miles.

The 2021 Cadillac Escalade

The Escalade has been the king of the big dawgs for quite some time. It is the preferred vehicle for people who hire people to drive them around. The 2021 Escalade has not only planted its flag at the top, but it’s also built a house there. It sports a new suspension and interior, making the ride even more comfortable than ever before. The updated styling gives the Escalade a more aggressive and modern flair that seems to be exciting buyers.

The 2021 Ford Bronco

This has got to be one of the most anticipated cars we’ve seen in a long time. Truck people have been sneaking spy shots for what feels like years, and it’s finally heading to dealerships. The 2021 Ford Bronco takes the coolest vintage cues from the older generations and puts them together with a modern aesthetic that is killer.

It is super well-equipped with modern tech and loads of options. It comes in two-door and four-door and is offered in both manual and automatic. The top package comes with 310 hp and various off-road configurations, including giant tires and maybe even skeleton doors.

2021 is going to be a big year for the car market; one way or another

2020 has set so many families behind financially. Hopefully the introduction of a Covid vaccine along with better political cohesiveness can bring back enough jobs and economic stability to support the market for these exciting new vehicles.
