The world was introduced to the Dodge Ram pickup truck in 1981. Since then, Ram has gone through many changes in order to give drivers a truck that has an exceptional amount of style and performance features.

In order to give drivers a more customized ride, Ram has come out with a few different special editions and trim packages to help better fit each individual driver’s needs. The Longhorn and Laramie both offer a wide range of special features to the already impressive Ram pickup.

To further enhance the different Ram models, the iconic truck manufacturer has created a special edition trim package which it is appropriately naming the Night Edition. While the other trim levels offer its own set of special features, the Ram Night Edition offers a wide range of stylish and powerful features that help to set it apart from any other truck on the market.

With the Heavy Duty Night Edition, drivers will now be able to turn their Ram 2500 or 3500 into a more stylish truck with better performance features. This year, Ram has also made the Night Edition available on the new 2020 Ram 1500. Here are a few of the features that help the Night Edition stand out among the other trucks in the lineup.

The Ram Night Edition features a luxurious interior

The Night Edition offers an all-black interior that helps to add a level of style and sophistication to the interior of the truck. On the Laramie, drivers can experience that comfort and style of a premium leather-trimmed seating. The Big Horn offers soft, piano black seats that are still luxurious and comfortable.

The interior also features a large 8.4-inch color touchscreen multimedia display that comes equipped with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity options. For drivers who are looking for an even bigger display, the Night Edition also has an available 12-inch touchscreen display.

This display is the largest-in-class touchscreen and allows you to fully customize the home screen while also using the equipped split-screen technology.

Exterior style

Where the Ram Night Edition really stands out from the rest is with its stylish exterior. The truck is offered in a variety of colors. But no matter which color you choose, the truck is sure to stand out.

The Night edition features all-black exterior accents, like black wheels, a black grille with the Ram logo printed across the front in all-black letters, and black trim around the front and rear headlights.

Impressive performance

The Ram Night Edition offers several different engine options to chose from. The Ram comes standard with a 6.4-liter V8 engine that uses variable cam-timing and is capable of producing the 410 hp — which gives it the best-in-class in horsepower — and 492 lb-ft of torque which provides plenty of power to haul heavy loads.

The larger Ram 2500 and 3500 models come equipped with the available 6.7-liter Cummins Turbo Diesel engine that provides 370 hp and 850 lb-ft of torque and is also capable of towing an impressive 19,1780 lbs of cargo and a has a payload capacity of 3,260 lb.

The Ram 3500 also has one of the most sought-after engines on the market. The available 6.7-liter high output, Cummins turbo diesel engine that is capable of producing 400 hp and 1,000 lb-ft of torque. This heavy-duty, impressive engine can tow up to 35,100 lb and has a max payload capacity of 6,570 lb.

For decades, Ram has been known to manufacture some of the most impressive lines of trucks. With the new Night Edition that is available on the new Ram 1500 and the Heavy Duty Night Edition that is available on Ram 2500 and the Ram 3500, these trucks are not only fun to drive but the unique style is also sure to turn a few heads.
