The Lexus GX 470 SUV

This line of large family SUV is a capable off-road vehicle as well as a luxury crew hauler. The Lexus GX 470 SUV was the first generation of this model and ran from 2002-2009, according to the Lexus GX Wikipedia page. The consumer complaints rack up to 38 on CarComplaints.com. Not that many, but still the Lexus GX 470 SUV is third on the list of most complained about Lexus SUVs.

The worst model year of the first generation Lexus GX luxury vehicle is 2003. This model year dealt with interior accessory problems. The 2006 GX 470 body-on-frame luxury SUV is 2006. Overall, the most reported problem for this model is about “secondary air injection failure” in that same 2006 model. The absolute worst problem owners complained of in the Lexus GX 470 SUV is a clunking after you stop the vehicle. Apparently, this issue also costs around $4,000 to repair.

The Lexus RX 330 crossover SUV

This luxury crossover SUV RX line is popular across a wide base of consumers. According to the Lexus RX Wikipedia page, the Lexus RX 330 crossover SUV is a Lexus luxury vehicle that made up the RX line’s second generation. It was in production from 2003-2007. The RX 330 acquired 66 complaints so far on CarComplaints.com. This crossover SUV model from the Lexus luxury vehicle lineup makes second place on the list of the most complained about Lexus SUVs.

The worst model year is 2004. This Lexus also dealt with issues with the interior accessories. The year 2004 is also the most complained about Lexus RX 330 crossover SUV. The most often reported problem is a cracked dashboard on the 2004 model year RX. That cracked dashboard is posted as the worst problem of all, costing about $900 to repair.

The Lexus RX 350 crossover SUV

This one makes the top of the list of most complained about Lexus SUVs. According to Wikipedia, it’s the post-facelift version of the same RX generation as the 330, then on into the third and fourth generations. The Lexus RX 350 crossover SUV received the most complaints at almost 100––95 on CarComplaints.com.

The RX 350 Lexus luxury vehicle‘s worst year is 2008, though the RX 350 does have complaints filed as new as 2019 model year. Still, those recent complaints are very few. Overall, the most complained about Lexus RX 350 is the 2007 model year. This model year also claims the most-reported problem––dashboard cracking, like with the RX 330. The worst problem for the Lexus RX 350 crossover SUV is post as a shift lag that costs up to $5,000 to fix.
