Yes, it’s one heck of a daily driver. It’s perfect for the type of person who wants to do truck stuff but also wants a comfortable ride around time. The Honda Ridgeline provides a taste of luxury with truck capabilities to get the job done.

The Honda Ridgeline is comfortable. It has the most interior space out of every other midsize truck in its class. It has the most space in the back seat for passengers, and both of the front seats have fold-down armrests to enjoy.

The rear seats have a 40/60 split that provides enough space for loading a bike when the seats are folded up, but there is a truck bed too. Also, the tri-zone automatic climate control keeps everyone comfortable. 

Car and Driver notes that the Honda Ridgeline has an interior made with higher quality materials than other trucks. You’ll find a dash that’s full of soft-touch materials, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, shifter knob, and more.

When Edmund’s tested the 2020 Honda Ridgeline, they noted that the unibody frame and independent suspension provides a smooth ride. The Honda Ridgeline handled bumps very well and didn’t jostle passengers as much as rivals.

The seats are well-padded and provide comfort for longer drives. They’re wide enough to support larger frames but also provides enough support to prevent smaller folks from sliding around. 

Also, the Honda Ridgeline is fun to drive. It has fun handling, a peppy acceleration, and the all-wheel-drive feature provides smooth stability. It’s excellent for driving on the pavement and on dirt roads.

Despite not having 4×4, the 2020 Honda Ridgeline has surprising off-roading abilities. It may not be able to climb up the side of a mountain, but it can handle snow, mud, dirt trails, forge streams, and more. 

2020 Honda Ridgeline features 

The Honda Ridgeline has a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. It can tow up to 5,000 lb and accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 7.2 seconds. It only tows about one ton less than its rivals. Plus, the Honda Ridgeline has the most fuel-efficient engine in its class and can get up to 28 mpg. 

It has an 8″ infotainment center that can connect to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Plus, if you opt for the truck bed Bluetooth music system, you’ll be the life of the party. Now you just need a cooler!

The 2020 Honda Ridgeline is also an IIHS top safety pick and earned a five-star rating from the NHTSA. Standard safety features include forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, and adaptive cruise control. With other trucks, you have to pay a pretty penny to upgrade to these features.
