The 2020 Kia Stinger is the unsung option if you want it all in one car. This sporty four-door has all of the practicality and space of a full-sized sedan, without being boring. The striking appearance from front to back gives the car a surprisingly sporty appearance, and it will probably lead you to make a second glance back after you parked just to admire it. While there is a lot to love about the car, 2020 Kia Stinger owners do have a few small complaints that you should be aware of.

Some minor problems

In way of sporty sedans, few come into such close competition with the Kia Stinger. In fact, if you want something that offers as much as this car does, chances are you are going to be looking at something in a much higher price range, like a BMW M3. While it may not be the cheapest option in the Kia lineup, you might be surprised to find out that you can buy this car brand new for around $33,000. That is pretty darn affordable for both a borderline-luxury car and sportscars.

A few downfalls

But of course, with everything that the car is trying to be — a lot of which it succeeds at — there are a few areas where it still needs improvement. According to Consumer Reports, the 2020 Kia Stinger only has a few complaints that seem to be common among owners, but none of them are that bad. At the top of the list is that the cabin of the Stinger is too noisy, allowing too much road noise in, but then again, chances are you are listening to music so you won’t care too much.

The other major complaint was that the car has an uncomfortable ride quality, but that is pretty much what you’d expect from a performance-oriented performance. The suspension is a little bit stiff for the average driver, but that is what you should anticipate from any sportscar, even in the form of a sedan.

The Kia Stinger is still loved

Regardless of the small complaints, owners still really love the Kia Stinger. It makes sense that you can find something to dislike about any car, but for the Stinger, those flaws are so small and insignificant that they really haven’t changed people’s opinions. While it isn’t the most comfortable luxury car on the market, it still packs a punch. For what it offers at its price point, the Kia Stinger is more than competitive — it’s a bargain.

Regardless of the smaller problems, the new 2021 Kia Stinger promises to be better than ever. That could be resolving all of these smaller complaints that owners have, but even if it doesn’t, these shouldn’t deter you from at least taking one on a test drive. When you have a car that is designed to give you everything you want wrapped into one, it makes sense that there would be more than a handful of problems, but Kia Stinger owners keep on loving the car for all of the ways that it truly excels.
