In fact, when properly equipped, this year’s model can tow a maximum of 7,500-pounds, which is significantly more than the Toyota Tacoma. 

TrueCar also tapped the 2021 Ford F-150 as one of the best trucks for the value. This year’s model starts at $29,290, making it an excellent choice for those on the hunt for a new truck under $30,000. Its base price isn’t the only reason TrueCar included in its list, however. This year’s model offers up plenty of engine options to choose from, including a fuel-sipping hybrid powertrain. This year’s new Ford F-150 also offers a slew of exclusive features, including flat-reclining seats and an onboard generator.

These Toyota pickups are some of the best trucks for the value

The 2021 Toyota Tacoma also found itself among TrueCar’s picks for the best trucks for the value. Priced at $26,400, TrueCar reports that this year’s model is tough, compact, and stocked to the brim with features. It’s available in several trim levels, including family-friendly and off-road-ready trim levels. “It’s a great small truck that is maneuverable around town and returns better fuel economy than larger trucks,” TrueCar added.

And if the 2021 Toyota Tacoma isn’t quite your style? TrueCar also included the 2021 Toyota Tundra among its list of the best trucks for the value. Priced at $34,025, the Toyota Tundra is a V8-powered pickup truck that boasts a max towing capacity of 10,200-pounds. It can also carry up to 1,730-pounds in its bed. TrueCar added that you can expect its interior to be as spacious as it is comfortable when it comes to this year’s Tundra.

GMC’s lineup offers two new pickups that made TrueCar’s list

While Ford and Toyota offer some of the best trucks for the value, GMC’s lineup also features two new pickups featured in TrueCar’s list. First, let’s talk about the 2021 GMC Canyon. This year’s model starts at $28,600 and can tow up to 7,700-pounds when properly equipped.

Its excellent towing and hauling capabilities aren’t the only reasons TrueCar included the GMC Canyon in its list either. In fact, according to TrueCar, the GMC Canyon is among the most spacious trucks in its class. It also offers a long list of user-friendly tech features. 

As for the 2021 GMC Sierra 1500? This year’s model starts at $30,100 and, much like the GMC Canyon, was included in TrueCar’s list of the best trucks for the value. Though, it’s no surprise as to why. This year’s model can tow a maximum of 11,800 pounds. It can also be had with a six-function multi-pro tailgate, a head-up display, a rearview camera mirror, and a carbon-fiber composite bed. It offers up more cargo volume than many of its competitors too.

There’s no denying that the Ram 1500 is one of the best new trucks for the value

There’s no beating around the bush here. The 2021 Ram 1500 is one of the best trucks for the value, according to TrueCar. It starts at $32,795 and, and at its most expensive, will have you spending roughly $57,350. A manageable base price and a slew of well-equipped trim levels aren’t all that the Ram 1500 has to offer either.

In fact, TrueCar reports that the 2021 Ram 1500 is one the most comfortable new trucks on the market. It boasts a soft suspension and a quiet cabin. According to TrueCar, this year’s model is the perfect pick for “families needing a do-it-all vehicle and those who drive long distances.” And when it comes to towing capabilities? This year’s new Ram 1500 can tow a maximum of 12,750-pounds when properly equipped.
