When it was new, the 2011 Mustang accumulated excited because it signified a new era. The model boasted two new engines: a 305-hp, 3.7-liter V6, and a 412-hp, 5-liter V8. Both of these engines could be mated with a six-speed manual transmission or an automatic. For even more power, you can go for the Shelby GT500 which garners a huge 550 hp thanks to its 5.8-liter V8 engine.

Overall, the 2011 Mustang is extremely agile, balanced, and engaging. It also has a high fuel economy rating for its class with a combined 23 mpg. Another great aspect of this Mustang is its high safety scores. Interior wise, the Mustang is generally comfortable. But, the rear seat is cramped which is typical for sports cars like the Mustang.

2014 Mustang

The 2014 Mustang is also an appealing option because it is well equipped and affordable. You can keep this model on the simple side or make it more luxurious with a 4.2-inch touchscreen as well as with ambient lighting and heated seats.

There are also a variety of performance options on the 2014 Mustang including a 305-hp,7-liter V6 engine, and a 420-hp, 5-liter V8 engine. You also have the option to go up to the ultra-powerful  5.8-liter V8 engine that gets a 662 hp. This model also has an above-average fuel efficiency rating.

Many owners are still proud of purchasing the 2014 Mustang because of its overall value and exciting performance capabilities. Its fit and finishings are also attractive. Owners are happy with the Mustang’s comfort level on the inside but did note that the seats are a tad too firm.

2019 Mustang

The 2019 Mustang beats out the 2018 model by a small margin because it has a slightly higher predicted reliability rating. In 2019, Mustang paid homage to its original pony-car roots with the limited-edition California Special package as well as with the Mustang Bullitt edition.

If you’re looking to be more fuel-efficient, the Mustang Ecoboost model is a good option and features a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine that makes a 310-hp. But as you might already know by now, the Mustang is known more for its mighty V8 engines. You have another choice between the 460-hp, 5-liter V8, and the 526-hp, 5.2-liter V8.

On the inside, the 2019 Mustang looks handsome and feels more upscale compared to previous years. Enthusiasts also love the user-friendly infotainment system. Although, not many infotainment features come standard. Items like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a wifi hotspot are available as upgrades.
