The standard safety features on the 2023 TLX consist of Forward collision warning, forward automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, traffic jam assist, and automatic high-beam headlights.

The new Acura TLX comes in six different trim levels. Starting with the base model, the Acura TLX comes with the same turbocharged four-cylinder and 10-speed automatic transmission as the Honda Accord. The engine makes 272 horsepower and pushes the car from 0-60 mph in 5.9 seconds. In addition, the Technology, A-Spec, and Advanced packages use the same drivetrain as the base model TLX

The trim levels differ in suspension, interior trim, and technology features. If you spring for the Type-S model, you get a turbocharged V6 producing 355 horsepower and all-wheel drive. For the top-level trim, the Type-S PMC, a limited number were built with a performance-oriented suspension setup and unique design elements.

How much does the 2023 TLX cost?

Surprisingly, the base model Acura TLX rings in at $41,045. Although it is a price-heavy start to the sedan, interior features like genuine leather as standard make up for the price. Moving up to the Technology trim will run $44,745, and the A-Spec trim is just above the base model at $47,495. The Advanced trim adds some available options for the starting price of $51,945. Lastly, there is the Type-S trim that most will opt for, which starts at $56,445. It s $10,000 more than the base model, but it gives the driver a more potent engine, better suspension, and better brakes.

Should you buy a 2023 Acura TLX?

If you are after one of the safest yet most fun sedans on the market today, look no further than the Acura TLX. When you are ready to tear up some canyon roads, a Type-S optioned model is well-equipped for whatever you throw at it.
