It’s rare for an everyday drive to feel like a memorable experience. Traversing the same roads and landscape becomes mundane. However, the 2021 Subaru Forester can easily change all that with a simple but underrated design choice.

No one particularly enjoys their daily commute or running the same old errands. However, the Forester turns every trip into an adventure, thanks to its unique design.

The Forester is already a standout in its class for its more popular and apparent attributes. But it isn’t until you get behind the wheel that you notice just how superior the driving experience the 2021 Subaru Forester provides.

The 2021 Subaru Forester’s thoughtful design changes the game

Some people may overlook seemingly small details of a particular vehicle. However, these aspects can significantly elevate your experience.

The 2021 Subaru Forester’s sprawling expansive windows seamlessly transition into the windshield turns your daily drive into a scenic tour.

Consumer Reports review of the vehicle puts the sensation of being behind the wheel beautifully into context. The publication stated, “It’s clear that Subaru wanted the new Forester to continue to have one of the best outward views of any vehicle. Roof pillars are all slim, and the windshield and side glass are large.”

Few models encompass the feeling of being in an open-air vehicle while remaining safely behind the glass. Yet Subaru married the safety of traveling in an SUV with the sensation of driving a convertible or ATV. However, if you’re looking to add even more views to your ride, you can add a panoramic sunroof to the 2021 Subaru Forester for a cool $3,000.

Expansive windows are more than a vanity feature

It’s no secret that the Subaru Forester is incredibly reliable, but its safety features are also incredibly impressive. While visibility isn’t factored into most safety ratings, it certainly matters when you’re on the road in inclement weather or less-than-ideal driving conditions.

Subaru is known to go to great lengths to create vehicles that have staying power. Yet, it’s not widely noted how much thought Subaru put into the more mundane aspects of a model’s design.

This is evidenced by the mindfulness of the window’s placement, which carries over to the vehicle’s safety. Its open-paned cockpit significantly increases visibility on the road, eliminating some potential blind spots. Additionally, visibility is clear through the backseat and even through the rear window.

Most vehicles have a more sloped back windshield to accommodate for a more rounded silhouette or a hatchback. But Subaru took a different approach with the 2021 Forester. With a starkly straight back pane, visibility is excellent, reducing chances of glares from other vehicles or misconstruing depth perception.

The 2021 Subaru Forester is the complete package

It’s not often you find a vehicle that combines reliability, safety, and unique but useful design touches. The 2021 Subaru Forester fills that void in the automotive industry.

Featuring an overall excellent package, it’s no surprise that Consumer Reports lists the Forster as the best new compact SUV on the market.

However, other outlets disagree. For instance, the U.S. News & World Report rated the Honda CR-V and Mazda CX-5 as the top models in the class, respectively.

Shoppers may face some indecision when deciding which SUV is right for them. The 2021 Subaru Forester’s incredible view may tip the scales in its favor.
