MotorTrend took to the task of finding the coolest and best-looking vehicles of 2021.

Other trucks such as the GMC Sierra AT4 and Ford F-450 Platinum also received a spot on the list, but MotorTrend felt the TRX was “the best-looking truck on the road right now.”

With a starting price of $71,790, the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX receives a perfect 10 out of 10 rating score from Car and Driver. Selected to the 10 Best List for 2021, the TRX beats out the competition with its commanding control of the road.
Built for everyday use, the cabin of the Ram 1500 TRX compares to the interiors of high-end luxury cars. Car and Driver says it feels more like riding in a Mercedes-Benz GLS than a pickup truck.
The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX utilizes unique styling cues, especially in the interior, offered in three color schemes. A flat-bottomed steering wheel stands out amongst the bold shifter and redesigned front seats. A heated reclining bench seat in the rear helps passengers relax as they enjoy the audio system that features a 19-speaker surround sound.
Innovative lockable storage boxes in the truck bed help drivers safely transport valuable cargo. A unique tablet is the focus of the Uconnect infotainment system that utilizes the latest technology, and there’s an all-new head-up display that assists the driver.
The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX named Truck of the Year
In addition to being one of the best-looking vehicles for 2021, the Ram 1500 TRX was named Truck of the Year by MotorTrend.
Powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine, the Ram truck puts out 702 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. It is the benchmark to which competitors will aspire. With impeccable performance both on and off the road, the new TRX frame is now thicker and stronger. Stability is achieved through the use of redesigned axles and 35-inch all-terrain tires.
Towing and hauling are unsurpassed, with capabilities that exceed 1,300 pounds in the bed and 8,100 pounds off the hitch. It blows away class-leading competitors such as the Ford F-150 Raptor.
The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX is one of the fastest pickups on the market, hitting 0 to 60 mph in just 4.1 seconds. This is an incredible feat for a pickup, making it quicker than some standard performance vehicles.
MotorTrend said the 2021 Truck of the Year comes alive off-road, explaining “when you put the TRX into Baja mode, it suddenly corners in the dirt like a sports car on concrete. Nearly unbelievable.”
