Are you ready to go camping in the perfect off-roading SUV? Well, the 2021 Ford Bronco Overland could be the right fit. The Ford Bronco Overland Concept displays how easy camping can be with the right SUV and accessories.

Step one in adventuring and camping is being able to make it to your site. This is where the 2021 Ford Bronco has you covered with beefy off-roading trims such as the Badlands and Outer Banks. There is also the available Sasquatch package.

However, if those options aren’t enough, the new Ford Bronco Overland Concept has new camping bells and whistles to enjoy. It includes a roof-mounted tent, which is a heavy-duty unit from Yakimas.

The two-person tent is accessible via a deployable ladder. It’s also designed to help protect you from the elements, including bears with an elevated sleeping position. The durable netting will do its job of keeping bugs away too.

But that’s not all. The Overland Bronco also includes an ARB sourced refrigerator, portable stove, and cooking kit, allowing you to be a wilderness chef.

The fridge has a slide-out tray for storage. Plus, the package includes a set of folding chairs and a tailgate table too. It includes everything needed to turn the 2021 Ford Bronco into a miniature home on wheels.

How does the Ford Bronco Overland Concept perform?

The Ford Bronco Concept is based on the four-door Badlands model, so it will have plenty of muscle for off-roading fun. It also has upgraded 35-inch tires mounted on 17-inch Fifteen52 Turbomatic wheels, according to PickupTruckTalk

The Overland Concept also gained a Ford Performance sourced modular steel bumper and a WARN front mount winch. Additional accessories include a RIGID rack-mounted lightbar and 6 extra light pods that are mounted on the roof to provide 360 degrees of light. If you find yourself in a pickle, you can use the CB radio to call for help.

You will find the base 2,3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 270-hp and 310 lb-ft of torque under the hood. The amount that the Concept can tow hasn’t been released, but it could tow up to 2,000 lb.

When will we learn more about the Ford Bronco Overland Concept?

The Ford Bronco is expected to reach dealerships by the spring of 2021, so we hope to learn more soon. So far, the Ford Bronco Overland Concept has only left us with questions. For example, will it be available with the beefier 2.7-liter twin-turbo engine with 310 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque? Will it be available with the new 7-speed manual transmission?

Ford also didn’t release the full list of equipment with the Concept. Meaning, could it come with additional camping goodies? Does it include any of the 200 confirmed factory accessories that are available?

We would also like the specs of the CB radio and to know if the Ford Bronco Overland Concept has a WifI hotspot. It could be useful to know how much cargo space the minifridge, kitchen set, and tent take up as well.
