ID. Crozz
The Volkswagen ID. Crozz is an electric compact SUV vehicle concept designed by Volkswagen. The ID. Crozz was the second Volkswagen ID. concept introduced to the public after the Volkswagen ID. EV compact car. Eventually, the Volkswagen ID. concept was developed into a production model sold as the Volkswagen ID.3 and the Volkswagen ID. Crozz concept was developed into a production model sold as the Volkswagen ID.4.
The Volkswagen ID. Crozz electric concept vehicle was first introduced at the 2017 Shanghai Auto Show. Like the Volkswagen ID. (later the Volkswagen ID.3), the ID. Crozz was built on Volkswagen’s MEB platform, which was designed for the brand’s all-electric vehicles of the ID. series.
The Volkswagen ID. Crozz was later taken as a basis for the Volkswagen ID.4 and ID.5 productions models. The Volkswagen ID.4 is an electric compact SUV, while the Volkswagen ID.5 is a coupe-shaped variant of the ID.4. However, design changes are evident between the concept car and the production models, primarily in regards to the roof, taillights, tailgate.
