A silver 2021 Toyota Tundra parked

The Toyota Tundra is a full-size pickup truck model produced and sold by the Toyota Motor Corporation. A successor to the Toyota T100, the Tundra is sized and priced above the Toyota Tacoma compact/mid-sized pickup truck.

Introduced in 1999 as an immediate follow-up to the T100, the first generation of the Toyota Tundra had many similarities to its predecessor and the Tacoma (its little brother) but became the first full-size pickup truck to be entirely built in North America, keeping its production close to its primary audience. Originally built in Princeton, Indiana, Tundra production was relocated to San Antonio, Texas, during its second generation in 2008.

While not as overwhelmingly popular as some of its American pickup competition, the Toyota Tundra has earned its fans as a rugged performance choice that’s often one of the most reliable trucks on the road. Its top rivals include the Chevy Silverado, the Ford F-150, the GMC Sierra, the Nissan Titan, and the Ram 1500.
