The Jeep Wrangler Has The Best Utility Value 

The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited won the Best Value of the Year award in the compact utility segment. The Jeep Wrangler won the Best Value award in the midsize utility segment as well.

This award was pretty unexpected as the 2020 Wrangler models are often ranked last in a variety of lists. However, the Wrangler Unlimited was able to snag this award for retaining its value. The two-door 2.0-liter turbo I-4 model retained an 84.2% resale value and had a low depreciation rate over five years. 

The two-door Jeep Wrangler retained an 84.2% resale value for its turbocharged variant, and the V6 powered four-door Jeep Wrangler unlimited model maintained an 83.3% resale value. Because the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited seems to be the best option on this list, let’s see what value comes with it. 

What Value Comes With The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited? 

The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is the base model. The four-door model starts at around $28k, and the two-door model is a little cheaper at $26k. It has a better fuel economy than expected and gets 22 mpg in the city and up to 29 mpg on the highway. 

With the 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine, you can pump out 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 engine is available for this model as well. It offers 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. You can also select the 3.6-liter V6 engine that delivers 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.

Depending on the build you choose, the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited can tow between 2,000 to 3,500 lb. With the ability to go from 0 to 60 in 6.9 seconds, this Wrangler is pretty speedy too. Plus, it’s a Jeep Wrangler, so you get the off-roading bells and whistles.
