Good luck to 26-year-old Timothy Terry Jr. as he faces 23 criminal charges such as aggravated assault, receiving stolen property, and multiple counts of drug possession with intent to deliver.
Allegheny County Police detectives first spotted Terry outside of a Dollar general in Penn Hills. He entered a black SUV that Enterprise Rent-A-Car reported stolen from the Pittsburgh International Airport the day before.
According to Trib Live, he purchased baking soda in the store, which is a common agent for cutting narcotics. As police officers turned on their lights to pull Terry over, he decided to try and get away.
He put the stolen SUV in reverse and rammed a police car twice. Then he accelerated forward, busting through the front window of the store. I don’t think that was intentional, because that’s a terrible move while trying to escape.
Terry was pulled from the SUV and shot with a taser, but still managed to start running away. Officers finally caught him. Inside the SUV, they found three bricks of heroin and fentanyl, five bundles of heroin and fentanyl, five bags of cocaine, and marijuana.
He also had a loaded .40 caliber handgun that was reported stolen with a Glock switch, allowing it to be used as an automatic weapon.
