Stellantis cuts 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee prices to keep it alive
It might be a good time to consider a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Stellantis is currently slashing prices for this SUV in an attempt to keep it alive. It’s no secret that Jeep sales have been declining, so hopefully this will turn things around.
2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee prices keep dropping
Stellantis just decided to make the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee more affordable than the 2024 model. Prices are now the cheapest they have been since the fifth generation launched in 2021.
The 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee has an MSRP of $37,035, while the 2024 model starts at $38,035. So, the Laredo, or entry-level model is $1,000 less than before.
Plus, the Limited trim starts at $42,905 while the 2024 model starts at $45,905. It got a $3,000 discount.
Moving up to the Overland trim costs $56,995, but the 2024 model costs $60,995. That’s a $4,000 price reduction.
The top-spec Summit trim starts at $58,560 and the 2024 model starts at $62,560. This trim got a $4,000 price cut. Also, the Grand Cherokee L is $1,000 less than before.

However, these are just the MSRPs. The prices don’t include the $1,795 destination fee or dealership markups. Plus, adding 4×4 costs $2,000.
Also, the 2025 Grand Cherokee 4xe has an MSRP of $60,490. It costs the same as the 2024 model. But at least 4xe models have standard 4×4.
The Grand Cherokee has a standard 3.6-liter V6 engine with 293 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. Upgrade to the Grand Cherokee 4xe for a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with two electric motors and a 17.3-kWh battery pack that generates 375 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque.
In 2023, the Grand Cherokee sold 2244,597 models. But so far in 2024, it has only moved 160,938 units. Perhaps the price cuts will help it catch up by the end of the year.
