With the Formula 1 season underway, celebrities have made their predictions for the Drivers’ Championship amid the new regulations.
The 2026 season is a fresh start for all the drivers and teams, with years of work on the car finally paying dividends or costing the team millions in wasted development.
The cars are totally new, with a 50/50 split between electric and conventional energy, active aerodynamics, and a new engine manufacturer.
The reset leaves a lot of guessing regarding who is on the front foot and who is struggling.

With all of the anticipation, the F1 Instagram account reached out to celebrities with their picks for the season.
F1 predictions from the stars
Manchester City star Erling Haaland revealed that he is a Ferrari fan. He thinks Max Verstappen will clash with Lewis Hamilton, and the British driver will finish on top.
Multiple-time grand slam champion Serena Williams is siding with Lewis Hamilton as well, which is no surprise given their longstanding relationship.
Additionally, F1 the Movie star Damson Idris picked Hamilton as well, with Ferrari or Mercedes winning the Constructors’ Champion.
Finally, among the more prominent predictions, Odell Beckham Jr. is also siding with Hamilton, though he thinks George Russell, Max Verstappen, and McLaren will give stiff competition to the seven-time champion.
As the biggest star in the sport and most accomplished active athlete, it is no surprise that Hamilton has ended up as the favorite from the celebrity world.
Hamilton had a really poor season in 2025, failing to make an impression during his first year with Ferrari. However, with a new set of cars, he has the chance to change the trajectory of his career.
“Rediscovering myself was a big part of it,” Hamilton said. “As I said in one of my (social media) posts, I kind of lost sight for a second of who I was. And that person’s gone. So you won’t see that person again.
“(There have been) changes within my own personal space, in how I interact with the team. How the team is working is so much smoother than it was last year.”
