Finally, General Motors will have an answer to the Ford Super Duty Tremor and Ram Power Wagon with the upcoming GMC Sierra HD ATX4. It’s about time that GM upped its game with a serious heavy-duty pickup for off-roading.

According to GM Authority, the ATX4 could slot above the GMC Sierra HD AT4 with even more off-roading upgrades.

Engineers have been testing various suspension configurations with multiple shock options, such as replacing the AT4’s Rancho shocks with a beefier version of the Dynamic Suspension Spool Valve (DSSV) shock technology.

The new technology is being put to the test as spy photos of the first Sierra HD AT4X prototype emerge. Advancing from internal evaluation to real-world testing is a significant advancement.

Plus, we can see that the monster truck is equipped with a revised front bumper to enhance its ground clearance, a thicker front skid plate, and Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT tires.

We should learn more about the 2023 GMC Sierra HD AT4X soon, and we will update this story with more clues as information unfolds.
