Thieves, you have been warned. A Georgia sheriff is taking the case of Shaquille O’Neal’s missing SUV extremely seriously. Shaq’s custom Range Rover was stolen and is believed to be in Atlanta as police officers continue their search.

Georgia Sheriff makes finding Shaq’s SUV a top priority

I’m not a police officer or detective. But if I had to guess, a tall person probably stole Shaquille O’Neal’s luxury SUV. Shaq’s custom Range Rover was built to accommodate his size.

He’s 7’1” and often can’t fit in smaller vehicles. It looks like I’m not a likely suspect at 5’1” as I wouldn’t be able to reach the pedals. Anyways, the $180k vehicle was in transit from California to Dahlonega, Georgia, to have fabrication done.

Sheriff Stacy Jarrard shared that Lumpkin county is about 70 miles northeast of Atlanta, where the vehicle is believed to be. It was heading from Lumpkin to another drop point when it went missing during transit.

That’s why police officers and detectives are using that location as a starting point. The vehicle was being transported by FirstLine Trucking LLC, and its computer system was hacked around the time of the theft.

According to NY Times, Effortless Motors, the company that modified the vehicle, is offering a $10,000 reward for information that helps investigators find it.

Jarrard also shared that investigators are dedicated to recovering the vehicle and arresting the suspect responsible for stealing it. They have search warrants for information in an attempt to identify people of interest.

Shaq has been cooperating with investigators and filed a missing vehicle report. He’s also hopeful that the person responsible is caught and faces consequences.
