You could give a semi-truck driver the benefit of the doubt, and assume he was lost when he drove all over a golf course. That’s what he told police officers when they caught him joyriding. Either way, he caused $10,000 worth of destruction.

Ohio semi-truck driver takes a $10k ride all over a golf course

Do mulligans cover trespassing and destruction of property? One Ohio semi-truck driver is on the hook for causing tons of damage at the Delaware County golf course

Police officers arrested the suspect, identified as Gurpreet Dhaliwal of New York at the North Star Golf Club. The trucker allegedly was driving his semi-truck around the course.

Witnesses shared that his truck was seen entering the golf course by the clubhouse and went to each hole. The truckdestroyed a bridge at the 16-hole. The back nine will be closed for repairs.

According to ABC 6, the driver told police officers that he was lost. He failed to provide a coherent reason as to why he was driving through the golf course.

The truck didn’t have a license plate, but was identified through Dhaliwal’s insurance card. Reportedly, he was involved in a crash the previous evening.

Dhaliwal refused to submit blood and urine tests. Police officers found unidentified pills in his truck, but they haven’t been tested yet. He was arrested for felony 4th-degree vandalism and cited for prohibited acts while driving a semi-truck.

Maybe he was under the influence and really thought he was lost. However, this seems like an activity straight out of a video game like Grand Theft Auto or something.
