[Watch] Cincinnati woman rages over honk, jumps on car, rips off wipers, and shatters windshield
If you’re in Cincinnati, Ohio, you might want to be careful about who you honk at. Even if they cut you off and cause you to slam on your brakes. Ashton Miano learned that the hard way when a woman pulled in front of her Nissan SUV. She let out a honk in case the woman didn’t see her, and then all Hell broke loose.
The woman who cut her off, later identified as Nancy Campagnino, heard the honk and snapped. She put her car into park, hopped on Miano’s hood, and began shouting.
“Give me this b****! Give me this b****!” she was recorded saying by a witness, uploaded by WSET. “I’m gonna kill you! I’m gonna kill you!”
The recording was uncomfortably long, showing just how angry being honked at made Campagnino. Miano said she tried to talk to her through the driver’s side window, but it only made her angrier.
“I never even really spoke to her; when she approached my car, I asked what she was doing, as she was the one who pulled out in front of me,” she told the outlet. “I was honestly just dumbfounded by what was happening.”
The road rager’s antics jumped to property damage
While Campagnino rode the rage into the sunset, Miano called 911. While police were on their way, the woman took the incident to another level.
She ripped off a windshield wiper and began using it to strike the windshield. Her foot was used as a weapon, too.
“I became fearful when she actually busted my windshield with her foot as I thought she was going to actually bust through the glass,” Miano recalled. A bystander took action and grabbed Campagnino, she said, and the enraged woman tried to fight him.
When police arrived, she was arrested and charged with two counts of assault and one count of vandalism with intentional property damage. Miano’s car sustained damage to the hood, a nearly shattered windshield, and a broken wiper.
