2014 Chevrolet Spark

  • Reliability Score: 74/100

When this used car was new, it was a finalist for U.S. News’ 2014 Best Subcompact Car for the Money award. The Chevy Spark has high safety ratings and low ownership costs. Sitting at the top of U.S. News’ list of the most reliable used cars under $10,000 is the 2015 Kia Rio. According to the publication, the used Kia Rio is an “​​outstanding subcompact used car.” It’s reliable, safe, and available as a four-door sedan or a hatchback. “Acceleration is brisk, and fuel economy is competitive for the class,” U.S. News added.
