The phrase “No Face No Case” is common in some corners of motorcycle and stunt-riding culture. Riders often wear tinted visors or masks and avoid showing license plates, believing it keeps them from being identified or charged. It’s become a kind of badge among those who film and share risky riding videos online.
Still, a man who built a social media following by posting high-speed motorcycle videos while driving around Charleston, South Carolina, now faces a long list of charges after police tracked him down in Florida.
Charleston Police say 48-year-old Ramon Enoch Ortiz recorded himself weaving through traffic at speeds over 140 miles per hour
He edited the videos for social media and used them to promote his “No Face No Case” brand. Officers say the footage only showed part of what was happening on the streets.
Even though he didn’t have a valid license, registration, or insurance, Ortiz kept riding and recording. Investigators linked him to the videos through digital forensics, search warrants, and physical evidence. Police say they arrested him on June 16 in Jacksonville, Florida.
Ortiz now faces 35 charges, WCSC shared.
Police filed 8 counts each for operating a motorcycle without a license, driving an uninsured vehicle, and operating an unregistered vehicle
They also charged him with seven counts of reckless driving, two counts of racing, one count of leaving the scene of a crash, and one count of marijuana possession.
Charleston’s traffic unit launched the investigation after spotting his videos online. They say the case landed during a year when the department pushed hard on traffic enforcement. In 2024, officers increased DUI arrests by 31% and traffic arrests by 32%. They also issued more warnings and reported 52% fewer traffic fatalities.
