Have a safe outdoor recreational activity time.
These days are the safest they have been for American consumers. However, recalls are still necessary to ensure safety for consumers. To that end, the NHTSA inspects vehicles to make sure they are in compliance with safety standards. Thankfully, they occasionally find things that are easily repaired or replaced with the manufacturer. But, sometimes more serious things are a concern. In either case, recalls are there to ensure that consumers can have the peace of mind that safety issues are being reviewed and public action is taking place.
