It isn’t every day you see a famous Orangutan named Rambo driving a golf cart or a shiny Porsche Boxster sports car, but today is that day. While this viral video of Rambo driving the golf cart is entertaining, don’t limit her to just golf carts. This mobile lady also knows how to work a skateboard, ride a children’s motorbike, and off-road in her Peg Perego Polaris Ranger RZR 900 ride on power wheels toy.

Rambo isn’t new to driving golf carts, but the Porsche Boxster is new

Well, isn’t that something? Rambo the Orangutan isn’t new to the viral video scene. She’s been on camera driving golf carts and other vehicles for a few years now. Snopes says Rambo lives at the home of Sheikha Fatima Rashed Al Maktoum, daughter of the prime minister of the United Arab Emirates. 

This is a private zoo that has all sorts of exotic and wild animals. In other videos, Rambo can be seen reading books about her family and wearing human clothing. But when it comes to the golf cart, she has taken the internet by storm. Rambo looks like a pro zooming around in her golf cart. Stephen Colbert recently shared the video and brought even more attention to the story.

So how did Rambo learn to drive a golf cart, let alone a Porsche Boxster?

She confidently scoots around on the cart, surveying the property as she drives around. Rambo even hangs her hand from the roof, as many humans do on a regular day on the golf course. Upon coming up to the tiger cage, she simply drives by the big cats in the cage and continues on.

Rambo’s keeper commented that she didn’t just start driving a golf cart one day. She first started with toy cars and skateboards before getting old enough to get her driver’s license. A children’s power wheels toy wasn’t out of the question, but Rambo did have to wait until she was older to hop into a golf cart. She couldn’t reach the pedals at first, but that’s all behind her.

But as most humans do, Rambo got an upgrade recently with a brand-new Porsche Boxster. It has shiny black wheels and a totally red interior, perfect for Rambo’s stylish outfits. She also drives a Nissan Patrol SUV when the situation calls for it.

Can’t stop Rambo from living her best life

Since this is private property, Rambo has pretty free reign of the area. It might freak people out to see a large orangutan driving around in a Porsche, but this is Dubai after all. In her spare time, Rambo enjoys learning about her fellow orangutan pals and playing scrabble. If you happen to be in Dubai anytime soon, keep an eye out for Rambo driving a golf cart in the area. She also might be fishing in a fun hat by the water.
