Ram is trying to come back strong after struggling against sales declines. Ram CEO, Tim Kuniskis must be firing on all cylinders. He shared that there will be 25 product announcements over the next 18 months. But the immediate releases will probably be related to older V8 HEMI engines.

Ram has 25 product announcements to make

Tim Kuniskis has returned to Ram and hit the ground running. He’s planning to reveal 25 product announcements over the next 18 months. The first will occur on June 8.

However, I have a feeling that most of the announcements will be related to new trucks that are years away from coming out. For example, Stellantis has been teasing us with a new mid-size truck for years.

But in reality, the new Dakota probably won’t come out until 2027 or 2028 as the brand navigates around new challenges due to tariffs and increasing costs.

Also, the most immediate announcements are expected to be about the return of the HEMI V8 engine. The power house could return, but it won’t exactly be new. However, rumors suggest that more efficient variants are in the works for later.

Kuniskis shared that the brand has a clear goal in mind to build exciting trucks. This indicates that appearance packages and special editions are on the way. I love cool trucks, but I don’t love their price tags.

According to Car and Driver, one exciting announcement could be related to introducing a new diesel engine for the Power Wagon. I hope they bring something affordable like the Ram 1500 Classic back. However, it’s time to wait and see.
