The Rainbow Jeep Wrangler 4xe Celebrates Pride in Style
Give it up for the 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe. This SUV just had the honor of being the grand marshal vehicle for the Motor City Pride Parade. The rainbow Jeep Wrangler 4xe took to the streets of Detriot with messages of hope, encouragement, and acceptance.
The 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe leads the pride parade
The Motor City Pride Parade kicked off on September 18 in the Hart Plaza, which is located in the heart of downtown Detriot, Michigan. But you can’t have a parade without an awesome ride to lead it!
That’s why the 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe stepped up to the plate as the grand marshal vehicle. But not just any old look would do for this special occasion. You can’t participate in a pride parade without dressing up to celebrate.
The Wrangler 4xe was styled for the occasion with rainbow decals on the hood and the seven-slot grille. It was also covered in messages of hope. The messages included “I love my chosen family,” “Everyone deserves love,” “Proud Jeep owner and ally,” and more.
The Wrangler celebrates diversity
Jim Morrison, Vice President of Jeep North America, shared that Motor City Pride is an important way for Stellantis and the Jeep brand to celebrates our diverse and inclusive work culture. It also shows our commitment to our diverse customers and communities.
He continued to explain that over Jeeps’ 80-year history, the brand has led the way with freedom and authenticity. We are proud to lead this year’s parade with a specially wrapped 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe to show our continued longstanding support for Motor City Pride and the LGBTQ+ community.
The Wrangler 4xe wasn’t the only Jeep to join the party. Another 4xe accompanied the lead Wrangler, plus a pride Gladiator and recently-launched Grand Cherokee L joined the parade. All Jeep models included in the parade wore LGBTQ+ colors with pride.
This year the march didn’t only celebrate Michigan’s LGBTQ+ community. The parade also paid tribute to Detriot’s essential workers, who keep things on track despite the current difficulties. Facing the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and mechanical shortages hasn’t been easy.
Can you buy a pride Jeep 4xe?
There isn’t an official pride 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe model available. But luckily, Jeeps are so easy to personally customize that you can find the decals online. Customize your own Wrangler, Gladiator, Cherokee, Renegade, Compass, etc.
But if you do want a Wrangler 4xe, we have some bad news. It’s all sold out. The 2022 model isn’t expected to have any significant changes since this hybrid model recently made its debut.
The 2021 4xe has an MSRP of $51,225. Its price may increase a little for 2022, depending on supply and demand. It offers up to 21 miles of electric-only range with an EPA-estimated 49 MPGe. It’s fuel-efficient enough to lead pride parades for days!
Plus, the Wrangler 4xe is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine and two electric motors. They combine to generate 375 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. It conquers cities, streets, and the wild.
