Consumers can add the 4k Tow Package to increase the small truck’s towing capacity from 2,000 lbs to 4,000 lbs for $745. The First Edition Package adds hood and side graphics decals, a power tilt/slide moon roof, a soft-folding tonneau cover, and additional cosmetic features for $1,495. It also includes the Lariat Luxury Package as a bundle with heated seats, a heated steering wheel, LED box lighting, rear parking sensors, and plenty of other great features.

After destination charges, this specific configuration and package combination will run you $37,300. This doesn’t include taxes and additional fees. Ford offers plenty of accessories as well, so some Maverick buyers could pay closer to $40K by the time they’re done custom ordering their Maverick Lariat.

The Blue Oval even offers a FX4 Off-Road package for $800. The package includes all-terrain tires, skid plates, different driving modes, and Hill Descent Control. Ford clearly wants to make the Maverick as useful as possible for different types of consumers.

The Maverick can tow small loads with the 4K Towing Package or manage mild trails with the FX4 Off-Road Package. It truly shines when consumers stick with the standard hybrid engine. According to Car and Driver, the small pickup achieves an incredible 42 miles per gallon in the city and 33 miles per gallon on the highway. That’s historic fuel efficiency for a truck.
