The Bengaluru police impounded a white Lamborghini after multiple videos of the car performing donuts at Anil Kumble Circle went viral. It now turns out that the Lamborghini owner is the son of a late underworld don.
MotorBiscuit reported the incident after citizens urged the police on X to take action against the culprit. Between 2:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m., the driver of the white Lamborghini performed several donuts at the busy junction.
The smoky stunt attracted attention from passersby as the tires screeched loudly before the driver sped off toward Tonique Circle.
Officers at the Cubbon Park Traffic Police registered a suo motu FIR (First Information Report) against the vehicle’s owner, who now appears to be Ricky Rai, son of late underworld don Muthappa Rai.

The police have reviewed CCTV footage of the area to obtain further details of the incident, officers confirmed. West traffic deputy commissioner of police Sahil Bagla said in a statement:
“The CCTV footage clearly shows the car repeatedly drifting at the junction. Such acts are highly dangerous and pose a serious threat to public safety.”
“We have reviewed the CCTV footage, and the drifting has been recorded. We are verifying the ownership of the vehicle. Such stunts are illegal on Bengaluru roads and will not be tolerated,” he added.
Bagla warned that the police will “not only impose penalties but also recommend cancellation of the vehicle’s registration certificate (RC).”
An FIR has been filed for rash and negligent driving. However, the police are yet to confirm who was driving the Lamborghini during the incident. It will review CCTV footage from the location to identify the driver.

Driver suspected to be Ricky Rai, son of former underworld don Muthappa Rai. Is this why #Bengaluru roads are treated like private racetracks? Money & influence= zero fear of law
Let’s hope this doesn’t end with just a Rs 2K fine.Public safety deserves better https://t.co/KqiwOhT4cU pic.twitter.com/bajifY09gD
Ricky Rai was in the news last year after assailants opened fire near his residence in Bidadi. He survived the incident and was treated at the hospital.
His late father, Muthappa Rai, was known to be an influential underworld figure in the state of Karnataka, India.
He climbed the ranks through his criminal networks in the 80s and was accused of extortion, illegal land dealings, and organized crime. However, he was acquitted in many cases due to a lack of evidence.
