Driving under the influence is one of the worst things a driver can do. This is the case because it causes numerous car wrecks each year. Sadly, one 20-year-old Pennsylvania driver recently did this and was pulled over for a traffic stop. The police then learned what he had been up to and arrested him.

Not only was he pulled over for a traffic stop after driving under the influence, but he had drugs in the car

A person could be pulled over for a traffic stop for many reasons. Naturally, speeding and showing signs of driving under the influence are among the biggest. According to WGAL News 8, West Earl Township police recently pulled over Aycen Zambuto, 20, for speeding. The report says that he was going 20 miles over the speed limit and showed signs of impairment. However, the report doesn’t say what signs the police observed.

During the traffic stop, the police officers searched the vehicle and found quite a bit. They uncovered marijuana, various articles of drug paraphernalia, booze, and a bag with a white substance. Sadly, that’s not all, as police officers also found three IDs in the vehicle, two of which were believed to be fake, and one belonged to someone else.

Following the traffic stop, the 20-year-old is facing some serious charges for driving under the influence, speeding, and drug possession. As mentioned, driving while intoxicated is especially dangerous due to the possibility of car wrecks. Luckily, no one became a victim in this situation. The exact charges include the following:

  • Driving Under the Influence
  • DUI – Schedule I Controlled Substance
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Carrying False Identification Card
  • Possession of Alcohol by a Minor
  • Exceeding Maximum Speed Limit by 17 MPH
  • Operating a Vehicle Without Valid Inspection
  • Driving Without a License
