Consumer Reports’ take on the 2020 Kia Sorento

Every month, Consumer Reports highlights the best new car deals. But Consumer Reports doesn’t just highlight vehicles that are being offered at an unbeatable price. Instead, it takes into account the vehicle’s pricing and its overall ratings. So, which hot deal did Consumer Reports highlight this month? The 2020 Kia Sorento.

But what kind of deals are we talking about? Well, according to Consumer Reports, you can score 20% off a 2020 Kia Sorento EX V6 AWD. While Consumer Reports highlighted this specific deal, it’s not the only deal available. Kia is actually offering several money-saving discounts that aren’t going to break the bank anytime soon.

You can lease a 2020 model without breaking the bank

Kia is offering a ton of great deals on the Sorento this month. If you plan on leasing your next car, Kia is currently offering a 36-month lease deal. Put down $3,499 on a Kia Sorento LX with front-wheel drive, and you can expect your monthly payment to ring in at $209. Opt for an all-wheel drive model instead, and that monthly payment jumps to $229, which isn’t all that bad.

And if you’re after an SUV with a V6 engine under the hood? Put down $3,499 and pay $269 per month for a Kia Sorento S V6 with front-wheel drive, or $289 per month for a model equipped with all-wheel drive.

However, keep in mind that while Consumer Reports says that some of these deals may be renewed come December, Kia does have them set to expire at the end of the month. Meaning, if you’re in the market for a low-priced Kia Sorento, now might be the time to scoop one up.

It also won U.S. News & World Report’s ‘2020 Best 3-Row SUV for the Money’ award.

And if those awards aren’t enough to convince you that this SUV is one worth buying? Then consider how well it fared in crashworthiness tests.
