New Jersey drivers with road rage battle on a busy highway
A duo of poor drivers in New Jersey chose a busy highway as their battleground, and another vehicle caught it all on camera. Unfortunately, the Nissan driver’s display is a glimpse into just how hazardous a fragile ego can be for everyone’s safety.
A road rage video shows a Honda and a spiteful Nissan driver swerving across a New Jersey highway
An Instagram video with around 30,000 views shows a black Honda sedan following a Nissan SUV closely. At a glance, it doesn’t look like anything out of the norm. However, a moment later, the two vehicles start doing a road rage dance.
The Honda attempts to get around the Nissan to the left. No joy; the gray SUV swerves ahead of the Honda, narrowly missing the rear end of a white Dodge Durango. The sad move forced the Honda to deploy its brakes. Hard.
After that, it was rinse and repeat. Every time the Honda attempted to pass the Nissan, the SUV would block the sedan’s path. It’s a disturbing example of just how dangerous bad drivers with bruised egos can be on a public road in broad daylight.
A viewer summed up the childish display rather well. “There are no adults anymore,” the social media-goer responded. On the other hand, a daft comment read, “At that point, just follow them home.” All joking aside, don’t do that. That’s a quick way to get hurt. Or worse.
So, what can you do to avoid a disastrous case of road rage? Great question. For starters, try to check your own ego and temper. Something as seemingly pedestrian as a honk or a gesture can cause an angry driver to snap. In that same vein, try to maintain a high standard of driving. You can’t anger a short-fused motorist if you don’t cut them off.
More importantly, consider investing in a dash cam. A good camera can capture the dangerous actions of other motorists and provide vital evidence to the authorities. Finally, never hesitate to call 911 if you witness a case of road rage. Your call might be the difference between bystanders making it home.
