The 2023 Nissan Murano S trim

The base trim of the 2023 Nissan Murano, the S trim, starts at $33,660. All trims have a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 260 hp and 240 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). Front-wheel drive is standard, but all-wheel drive is available on any trim for $1,700. There is seating for five passengers plus 67 cu. ft. of rear cargo space, which is less than some competitors, says U.S. News & World Report.

The base trim comes standard with the Nissan Safety Shield® 360 technology, which has multiple advanced safety features, including automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane-keep assist, forward-collision warning, and rear automatic braking. The Murano S trim also comes with 18-inch wheels.

Inside the cabin, the Murano comes standard with six-way manual adjustable cloth seats. It also has an 8-inch touchscreen, one Type-A USB port, one Type-C USB port, two charge-only USB ports for the rear seats, a six-speaker audio system, SiriusXM satellite radio, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The Murano also comes standard with dual-zone automatic climate control, proximity keyless entry, and push-button start.

The 2023 Nissan Murano comes in four trim levels: S, SV, SL, and Platinum. There is also a Midnight Edition package for the SV trim, which comes with extra black on the exterior. The top trim, the Platinum, with all-wheel drive, has the highest starting price of $46,910. It comes with Dark Hyper Silver 20-inch wheels and a dual-panel moonroof. While all the trims have LED headlights, the Platinum trim also has LED fog lights. Getting into the cargo area is easy with its motion-activated power liftgate.

Inside the Murano Platinum trim, drivers will find a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel with power tilt and telescope and matte wood trim. It has heated and cooled semi-aniline leather-appointed seating with diamond-quilted inserts and contrasting micro-piping on the doors, seats, and console. The seats are 10-way power adjustable. The passenger seat also upgrades from four-way manual-adjustable to four-way power-adjustable.

Tech upgrades include an 11-speaker Bose® audio system, voice recognition for navigation and audio, and NissanConnect® Services powered by SiriusXM®. The Platinum trim also has ambient LED lighting, intelligent cruise control, and remote engine start with intelligent climate control. For advanced safety features, the Platinum trim adds traffic sign recognition to its standard features.
