The 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport is a beautiful combination of what you want and need in a top-of-the-line SUV. It combines luxury accommodations and the off-road capabilities long associated with the Land Rover brand.

While smaller than the pricier 2023 Range Rover, it still offers an identical silhouette, albeit slightly more raised. You have a good range of choices for power, namely the P360, P400, P440e, and P530 grades.

As per Car and Driver, the P360 comes with a 3L inline-six engine with 355 horsepower. The P400 upgrades that to 395 hp. The P440e, on the other hand, boasts a plug-in hybrid setup that works with an electric motor and a straight-six engine to provide 434 worth of horsepower. Finally, the P530 is an absolute monster delivering 523 hp thanks to its 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine.

All the models come with standard all-wheel drive, adjustable air suspension, and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The stylish, revamped cabin has desirable tech features like a state-of-the-art infotainment system, heated plus ventilated seats, and driver-assistance capabilities that help with both off- and on-road driving.

What’s the cost of a fully-loaded 2023 Range Rover Sport?

According to Land Rover, the 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport will come in four trims: the SE, which has a base price tag of $83,000, the Dynamic SE starts from $90,000, the Autobiography is $104,200, and the most expensive version is the First Edition at a base price of $121,500.

If you wish to get the First Edition model at its finest, there’s an additional $18,340 you’ll have to part with to add to the already well-equipped SUV, or so Motor1 alleges. This figure includes a destination charge of $1,350. Let’s begin our calculations with the chic $750 Exterior Blackout Package that cancels out most of the chrome. It won’t extend to your wheels, though, so you’ll have to cough up an additional $350.

For an avid off-roader, a full-size spare wheel is a must-have, and it’ll cost you $560. Additionally, having tow assist for your sporty SUV is recommended, and it’ll only cost you $450. The Receiver Hitch Setup is listed as a $750 option.

You’re done with the exterior expenses. The interior Black Veneer Trim option goes for $410. You’ll need the cabin air purifier to keep your ambiance fresh and clean even when the atmosphere outside is dusty; you’ll pay $540 for this. A mobile Wi-Fi system plus a data plan will cost you $360.

You should consider looking at the Cold Climate Package, which is $640 and adds functionality like a heated windshield. Another notable package is the Convenience Package for $470, which offers you exclusivity, for instance, having a gesture-operated tailgate. You also can get the Interior Protection and Storage Pack worth $650, which includes cargo carriers and rubber floor mats, among other components. A combination of a few miscellaneous features may also add $1,000 to your bill.

You’re still a good way away from that $18,430 additional cost. We’ve saved the most expensive add-ons for last. First comes the rear-seat entertainment setup, including a pair of 11.4″ screens for $3,150. If you have $4,200 to spare, you may consider upgrading your car with deployable side steps. Finally, the priciest add-on, at $4,500, is the improved, cutting-edge Meridan Signature Sound System which consists of 29 speakers offering a power output of 1,430 watts.

What is the best Land Rover Range Rover Sport trim level?

The Land Rover Range Rover Sport P360 and P400 models are expected to deliver 20 mpg within the city and 25 mpg on the highway. The V8-powered P530 has a fuel economy of 15 mpg when driven in the city and 20 mpg on the highway.

Land Rover has not yet released a comprehensive assessment of the Range Rover Sport’s standard and optional operations. Still, Car and Driver believes that the more powerful Dynamic SE is the trim to go for. This additional horsepower will give it an advantage around town and when cruising down highways. Additionally, the Dynamic SE is the second most affordable trim, with only the base SE that’s cheaper.
