According to J.D. Power, the 2025 Chevrolet Trailblazer outdoes itself in its segment. Specifically, the Trailblazer earned an 86 out of 100 in the quality and reliability category. As a result, the small SUV is the most reliable model in the group, outshining the Buick Envista, Buick Encore GX, and Subaru Crosstrek.

In comparison, the Buick Envista and Encore GX earned an 85 for reliability, just shy of the Trailblazer’s 86. For J.D. Power’s consumer scores, an 86 constitutes a “great” score. To arrive at that number, the scoring metric takes owner surveys into account. Consumers can then report anything from electrical gremlins and transmission problems to paint issues.

The Buick Envista earned an 87 out of 100 overall consumer rating, earning it the top spot in the segment. Most of the Envista’s triumph is courtesy of its dealership experience rating, which snagged it a 93 out of 100. Consumers reported being pleased with Buick’s customer service.

An owner can expect the average Chevrolet Trailblazer to last well over 200,000 miles. Of course, a vehicle’s longevity depends on factors like driving behaviors, maintenance habits, and environment. However, with proper maintenance and care, a Trailblazer can easily eclipse the quarter-million-mile mark.
