When iSeeCars looked at reliable Lexus SUVs, the Lexus RX 450h came in at the top of the list. The study looked at more than 12 million cars to see which ones offered a stress-free ownership experience, finding that the RX 450h checked all of the boxes. This Lexus SUV also came in at the top of the best luxury hybrids, most reliable luxury hybrids, and luxury hybrid SUVs with the best resale value.

iSeeCars gave the 450h high marks for reliability, value retention, and safety. The average cost of a new RX 450h is $59,262, but the average cost of a three-year-old used option is $52,960. It earned an ISC quality score of 8.9, fairly high for the class, landing it in spot No. 1 for the luxury hybrid SUV category.

On top of that, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the Lexus RX 450h a four-star overall safety rating. Around 4% of Lexus RX 450h SUVs on the road have 150,000 miles or more, compared to 0.9% for the segment average.

You can’t have the most reliable Lexus SUVs without the RX 350

Drivers love the Lexus RX 350, and the numbers prove it. iSeeCars also says it is one of the most reliable Lexus SUVs in the lineup. The RX came in at the top of the list of best midsize luxury SUVs with the best value, most reliable luxury crossover, and most reliable luxury SUVs.

If you are looking for a sport utility vehicle that holds its value, the Lexus RX 350 checks that box too. A new RX 350 has an average cost of $54,811, and a three-year-old version has an average cost of $49,056. Since the RX is known for being reliable and long-lasting, consumers are willing to pay more.

Lexus RX is the second most reliable luxury midsize sport utility vehicle, coming in with a score of 8.9. On top of that, around 4.8% of all RX 350s on the road have 150,000 or more on the odometer. That compares to the segment average of 2.2%. It also received a four-star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, making it one of the most reliable Lexus SUVs and a safe option on top of that.

The LX 570 delivers more space

For those who want a reliable Lexus SUV with three rows, the LX 570 is bigger and more spacious than the rest. It came in at the top of the list for the best large luxury SUVs and best luxury SUVs with the best value. iSeeCars found that the LX delivered on reliability, value retention, and space.

Since the Lexus LX 570 is a larger vehicle, it has a more significant cost. A new LX has an average price of $100,382, but a three-year-old version can still run upwards of $90,631. This explains why it received such a high score for value retention.

Either way, the LX is the most reliable SUV in the luxury three-row category, scoring 8.8 overall. Around 4% of all Lexus LX 570s on the road have 150,000 miles or more on the odometer, compared to the segment average of 2.2%.

The good news is that the most reliable Lexus SUVs are still available for many customers. Finding a new version isn’t as important since these vehicles tend to last longer than similar options, so you can find a used SUV with plenty of life left.
