The Ford Expedition is one of the most expensive SUVs to fill up with gas in August 2022
Consumer Reports says that even though gas is $3.90 today, the 2022 Ford Expedition will still cost $112 to fill up. The 2022 Expedition is big but was Consumer Reports’ number one pick for large SUVs. With a 28.3-gallon gas tank capacity and a range of 453 miles, it isn’t surprising that this SUV costs more than $100 to fill up. The overall mileage came in at 16 mpg, with 11 in the city and 23 on the highway.

Chevrolet’s Suburban is the second most expensive SUV to fill up with gas

The Chevy SUV has a 28-gallon gas tank that gets 448 miles of range per tank. That works out to about $111 for a full tank of gas. Plus, the Subaruban has a high score for the predicted owner satisfaction.

The reported fuel economy came in at 15 mpg overall, 10 in the city, and 21 on the highway.
